Crossing against the lights is actually illegal in some countries. Not here.
Not a good night, woke up brain all active and feeling cross about all the last minute shenanigans yesterday. Dave and I had to read for a while to calm brains down. Exhausted when I awoke just before the alarm. Toyed with swapping my office day, but decided to go in. Left later than normal and knew I'd have to get going at work quickly so no walk through the parks.
After a flurry first thing though, things calmed down and I ticked off quite a few to dos. Weather much colder - snow and sleet predicted for Thursday. Left earlier than of late and picked up fish and chips on the way home - we'd decided to treat ourselves while watching The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Thanks for all the nice comments and faves on Dave's gardening efforts and yesterday's blossom pic.
3 good things
1. The power of a hot shower to wake one up after a difficult night.
2. Chip butties - chips in a slice of thickly buttered bread. Was fantasising about the French version - french fries in a baguette.
3. Amazon's buy it again feature - mum phoned in a tizzy as she'd dropped and broken her TV remote - I was able to find the right model quickly in my previous orders.
I’m very naughty at crossing at the right time….I always think I can nip across quickly before the next car arrives! Must not as I’m not as quick or as steady on my pins as I used to be! Singapore is very strict at crossing properly!
The guy coming the other way has an interesting face - his eyebrows and expression give him such a quizzical amused look.
Wonderful words
