The garden is now chock-full of Montys - somehow we started calling them Monty even though I think most are female. They are bloody ginormous.
No sign of the ever so important statement yesterday - good thing I didn't cancel my plans - would have been for nothing. A slight headache all day unfortunately - probably the tiredness and dehydration yesterday. Lay down after Zumba to try and clear it but wouldn't shift. And over-hot and muggy all day. Thunderstorms predicted for the night.
My sister T and B arrived in the evening to stay over as T has an appointment at the embassy tomorrow. Gins and a smorgasbord supper in the warm evening outside. Followed by over-ripe camembert, watermelon and the most amazing Italian chocolates. Still no sign of any statement.
3 good things
1. First Zumba after holiday and the knee behaved itself.
2. Lots of nice fruit from the International Supermarket - apricots, plums and watermelon - had with feta for lunch.
3. Potatoes from the garden as part of our smorgasbord.
@yaorenliu no they're not really big in the scheme of things, they just have these really big scary bellies and scores of them have spun webs all across the path in the garden ready to entrap you!
