Barbican high walk

Walking to the Museum of London from the tube station across the Barbican high walks - a favourite place. Wanted to return before it closes in 11 days' time to finish off looking round the exhibits as they are now. The new museum will undoubtedly be a whole different set-up. Also took a look at the Grime exhibition, very interesting.

Wilko Johnson's death was reported today.

3 good things
1. Nice things from the museum bookshop - including one or two Christmas presents.
2. Another windows quote seems promising - cheaper than the guy who came round last week - and someone Noah's sister has used before.
3. Halloumi peppers and lots of veg for supper - watching series 2 of His Dark Materials.

Thanks for all the nice comments and faves on the autumn colours and up into the light pics.

Love the concrete leading lines. The cold feel of the walk contrasted with the sunny blue sky cityscape. Nice shot B.

A wonderful leading line in this urban scene with the absence of people… hope the museum wasn’t too crowded!

A lovely shot. Quite a range of architectural styles to be seen. I've never been a great fan of concrete brutalism, but somehow it seems to work at the Barbican.
