Scabiosa atropurpurea by briaan

Scabiosa atropurpurea

Botany seems to have stuck to Latin words. These "pin-cushions" are part of the Yellow flower arrangement in our apartment building 'Dock-5' in Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The structure of the flower fascinates me.
