Just a few shots from the Prom concert I went to on Sunday. We were seated behind the orchestra in the choir stalls, so we had a good view of the instruments. The percussion section was very exciting to watch and it's a magnificent venue. We heard some choral works by Rachmaninov, and even went to a workshop in the afternoon and had a go at singing some of them!
Oh how lovely! One of these years I am going to try and be in London when the Proms are on. Live music is so different to anything recorded or on TV! Aren't the colours lovely in the hall too! Very grand!
Great collage,Judith! And one of my favourite seats at Symphony Hall is in the choir,as as you say,you get a great take on the percussion and a real overview of the whole auditorium.
