Not the sharpest picture I know, but it was taken through the kitchen window, and in the rain. I was so excited to see my first goldfinches at the niger seed, that I was in a hurry to capture them before they flew away. I've had the niger seed hanging there for about a month and these are the first finches I've seen.
wow this is great, I wish we had colourful birds like this in the garden. Once they know the food is there, you will see them all the time, so looking forward to seeing some more lovely shots.
