Lily beetle

Help - these nasty little creatures are eating my lilies! The lily beetles are busy mating for all they're worth and can decimate lilies very quickly. I usually squash them - if I can catch them before they hear me coming. ( I have no idea what the grey splodge is - something to do with mating perhaps?)

Oooh eer makes a change from snails and slugs I suppose!! can't say that I have seen them before do they only eat lilies then?

@lesleyallen Yes. as far as I'm awarer they only attack lilies. They always come in twos so if I find one I have to go in search of the other one.
