Back home to reality. This is an acer I've had growing in a pot for a number of years. It has never looked this good before so I think it must have benefited from all the rain we've had this summer. I'm getting quicker at typing one-handed!
I love acers - what a brilliant specimen this one is. A friend of mine made me a silver plated Acer leaf necklace - everyone thinks I am wearing a marijuana leaf :-))
