Misty morning in the park by busylady

Misty morning in the park

I missed the early morning fog but the Autumn colours are at their best. I was able to manage the dog and the camera this morning! I have the use of my shutter finger, also my thumb and middle finger so I'm able to do quite a bit. I have Dupuytren's contracture which is a hereditary condition causing the tendons in the hand to tighten. The surgeon hopes to give me 25% correction to straighten my finger, but the condition recurs so it's not a cure.
You are doing brilliantly with your limited use Judith. I do hope you get your improved movement.

You still managed a beautiful shot! Such lovely fall colors.

Lovely composition Judith and I hope your hand improves at least 25% and preferably more!

Great job with your disability ;0) My father-in-law had his straightened and it seems to have lasted well so fingers crossed (if it's not too painful!)

Lovely capture, I have never heard of this but it sounds painful, hopefully the treatment will give you relive for a long time.

That's one positive thing about the mist - the colours look stunning.

@carolmw I don't think I wanted to hear that about the claw! My Mum had the condition too and fingers were all bent in towards the palm. Hopefully I will have stopped the rot to some extent. @cookie123 No it's not painful at all but it makes doing some things difficult.
