We visited the newly opened Ashmoloean museum in Broadway. This is the view from the window of the museum looking up Broadway High Street. The museum itself is housed in a former Tudor Coaching Inn and has displays of art and furniture collected by Elias Ashmole around 1683. It also houses more recent exhibits as well as some very modern furniture. A lovely building and well worth a visit.
Combined with a club sandwich and pint of Old Hooky at the Kings Head in Mickleton, a quick peruse of John Noots contemporary gallery this is my idea of a perfect day out!! A super view of what must be one of England's prettiest High Streets.
