Sedgwick Museum, Cambridge by busylady

Sedgwick Museum, Cambridge

I'm still on the lookout for shapes and patterns so as I was in Cambridge today I wandered around looking for some unusual views. I spotted this over the doorway to the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences. It is the oldest of the University of Cambridge museums and was established in 1728. The website shows their new dinosaur skeleton, Clare, recently being wheeled through the centre of Cambridge.
3 good things,
A trip to the garden centre
A bit of retail therapy
Tea in Harriet's tea-rooms,
What a work of art giving interest and pleasure for so many years! LOVE it!

Very cool looking creatures. I like that they seem to be on the lookout, watching in both directions.

I love this. The creatures are so exotic and unusual in architecture. And the colors are wonderful. Nice!
