Built in 1400 BC, these magnificent pillars are a wonder to behold. They were built to dedicate the rejuvenation of Kingship. This may have been where many of the pharoahs of Egypt were crowned. You can see just how huge the pillars are, by the people below. We fitted in visits to a number of sites this afternoon, including the temples at Carnac.
