Barnsdale gardens

I missed the U3A trip to these gardens in the county of Rutland on Monday so I went with a friend today instead. It was so peaceful and there weren't many people today so we really enjoyed the calm and quiet atmosphere. The gardens were made famous by Geoff Hamilton who presented the TV programme Gardener's World for almost 20 years. This is one of the 37 small gardens which are designed to give inspiration for developing your own garden - we came back with lots of ideas.
So beautiful Judith !

Lovely and peaceful. Love your pov and those topiary trees. Visiting gardens is always good for inspiration and this one is very special.

Geoff Hamilton was a wonderful gardener & I remember watching him in his garden at Barnsdale so well. It looks a lovely place to be & get some new ideas. Is Geoff still alive?..must Google!
