We enjoyed Marburg so much that it was difficult to pick just one picture to represent the city. Clockwise from the top left you can see the new organ in the Elisabethkirche, the town hall clock, a typical house, the seven flies, the frog prince and the castle. If you know the stories by the Brothers Grimm, the seven flies represent the story of the Tailor and the Seven Flies, and the frog the story of the Frog Prince. Apparently the brothers Grimm stayed in Marburg. Helga (pictured yesterday) spent the afternoon showing us round this beautiful city.
