Twelfth night and the decorations are all down and packed away. This little set of musicians originally came from a friend in Germany as a present to my mother-in-law. When she passed away some years ago we decided to keep this lovely musical box as a reminder of her and it now comes out to grace the piano every Christmas. Not the best focus, I really must get better at indoor close-ups - New Year's resolution!
One thing I did think of myself when taking down our tree, thought I must remember to tell the kids to share out the decorations but when I mentioned it to daughter she ignored me!! I think apshe thinks I'm being morbid! These are lovely!
