We visited the impressive 14th century Kastelholm castle today. On the site was an outdoor museum, which had many typical wooden buildings, some of which have survived since the 1800's. Most of the buildings have been moved to the site and rebuilt there. This windmill was in fine shape, and we liked the traditional fencing. The Aland islands are an autonomous region of Finland, which have their own stamps and car licence plates.
