Old buildings, Helsingør by busylady

Old buildings, Helsingør

We have arrived in Denmark for just 2 nights, on the way home. Some of the old wooden buildings are very impressive. The plaque on this white one showed a date of 1577. The writing on the plaque translated as 'the Inn', seemingly belonging to Peter Ankarets daughter
Amazing building that it still standing and habitable.

Isn't it amazing how they are still standing proud, particularly when you think that they probably have no footings / foundations
