Cafe and park closed

We came back from our few days away to find that the heavy rain in nearby Bedford had caused flooding in our local park and on one of the roads into the town. The park is built on a flood plain and designed to take the excess water, so no properties were affected as far as I know. The top of the fencing to the right is the boundary to the children's play area!
WOW! That's a lot of water! Sorry about the flooding! Made for a beautiful photo, though! Wonderful reflections! I like the two geese observing the scene and the person on the bench adding interest to the overall capture!

That is a lot of water! Glad there is no damage but it’s going to leave a soggy mess.

@bjywamer I'm glad you like the person on the bench, it's my husband.!! He said he was going to sit out of the way while I was taking photos!

Observing what is happening, one can say that nature has had enough of us.
