Soft Symbolism

The red represents the blood of those who gave their lives, the black represents the mourning of those who didn't have their loved ones returned home, and the green leaf represents the grass and the crops growing and the future prosperity after the war had destroyed so much. The leaf should be positioned at 11 o'clock to represent the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the time that WW1 ended.
Best on black.
Thank you for all your recent comments and favs, much appreciated.
It's such a pretty pin and the symbolism is very strong. Nice shot!
