So much snow still piled up. What a stunning countryside that you live in. A lovely capture as the sun shines through and brightens up the tree trunks.
@helenhall thank you Helen! There is still a lot of snow and the night before I took the photo (3 days ago) had snowed again. But this is in Cortina, in the Dolomites at 1300meters of altitude where we have a small apartment and where we are living in hermitage because of Covid. @jgpittenger@phil_howcroft@peadar thank you for your comments. it’s the perfect place to be in semi- lockdown because we can stay out of the house, in the woods or on mountain paths without encountering a soul.
@momamo@lyndamcg@ljmanning@dridsdale@jacqbb thank you. It would be great to be able to meet with all of you up there. We spend most of our time in Cortina these days, to avoid human contacts, but yesterday I was summoned to the valley for my first dose of vaccine and I’m not sure we’ll be able to go back to the mountains for a while, because travelling is allowed only for medical reasons or emergency. I suspect it must be the same for some of you.
