Don't bite off more than you can chew

I didn't know what this blue jay was holding until I zoomed in. I'm fairly sure it's a peanut. I have no idea where he got it but what I found interesting is I saw several other pictures of blue jays on here with peanuts in their beak!

I'm going to try and take some pictures of something besides birds this weekend!

Blue Jays love peanuts. I used to put peanuts out for them at the feeders but unfortunately the squirrels get to them first. What a fabulous timely shot, Cindy. I love it.
