How many hours of work did it take to build the miles and miles of drystone walls that criss- cross the British countryside?

Great capture, those drystone walls always amaze me with seemingly nothing supporting them yet they stand for centuries!

What a lovely drystone wall wearing its winter coat.

David built a small drystone wall in our garden when we lived in Cyprus for 3 years. It took him ages. Good job he wasn't allocated for this job.
