Well, I got well and truly lost in the back alleys and unmarked little sand roads somewhere in Nowhere Town in and around the north today.
How can a person get lost in this place, I can hear a lot of people ask. Easy, I say. Far too easy. If you take a shortcut to avoid the maddening traffic, and this shortcut goes more or less in the direction you want to pursue, off you happily go - but if you don't know where the heck this shortcut *really* goes, you will unfortunately get lost and invariably hit a sudden dead end.
Anyway, at said dead end, I had stopped my car to gulp a bottle of water, thinking about what to do, when I saw this gate with some circular doodads on it. I thought I'd slip it in for the current BW challenge, which is circular. Seems fitting somehow - frustrating circular route, circular patterns on a gate. Its almost as if I was meant to meet this gate so that it could have a good laugh.
Cutting it fine, I know - if its too late, that's perfectly ok, at least my driving around like a stupid lunatic with nothing better to do gave me a shot at a photo opportunity. I didn't even have to do anything B&W to it - that gate is black and white.
