I had not noticed I was a day out on this my new year 10 album, so I am being lazy and starting a day late as I didn’t want to delete the last photo and everyone’s comments.
This is the TEMENOS. Designed to remember the towns industrial heritage. It is a giant dual ringed art installation erected in 2010. It stands next to the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough’s football club and depending on the angle you can see the Transporter bridge and the old tees dock clock through its structure. I will post a photo of that tomorrow.

Here we go again, I will take photos as I can and post ones that are new but maybe not taken on that day, this is the easiest way I can post a photo a day. It works well for me enabling me to carry on for yet another year. I’m proud to say I have never missed posting a day in 9 years !!
Thank you for your continued support and kind comments and favs it hasn’t been an easy few last years with all my arthritis but you are such a friendly bunch I can’t up and leave just yet.🧑🦰
Congratulations on completing year 10. Looking forward to seeing more beautiful shots from your perspective. It's a long while since I have stopped posting a shot on the same day. Very often there is nothing to shoot on one day and many opportunities the next. This is a beautiful capture of a very interesting sculpture. Actually I thought it was some sort of fishing net.
A fascinating structure. There seems to be a lot of public art in Middlesbrough, perhaps I need to pay a visit when the current Covid-19 cases are drastically reduced.
Wonderful set of lines and curves -- and congrats on starting year 10. You must have started at the same time as Taffy and me in 2013. Can you believe we've stayed with this project for so long? So fun.
Congrats on completing 9 years! I enjoy all your photos and am glad you will be continuing.
Congratulations on #10!
