This young fledge was crying for a feed when I took this shot. They hop around hoping for a tit bit but I think this one’s parents were training it to look for it’s own food. It will get its adult plumage later this year but for now it is a very dull brown and grey. On the seafront in the summer months you see crèches of them all waiting to get their adult plumage.
