While we were out this afternoon we went through Whitby in the hope of finding a parking space but having no luck we ended up a few miles further on at Sandsend. We watched as a pair of ducks landed on the sea wall and settled down to enjoy the warmth of the sun just a few feet away from us. They didn’t seem at all bothered as I took a few photos. I particularly liked this one as I managed to get close in and take a few shots as he tried to get 40 winks, head under his wing.
