Yesterday was a lovely sunny day, we managed to get parked and go for a walk around Peasholm park in Scarborough. The peddle pleasure boats were in demand with queues running around the boat house waiting their turn. It’s many years since we have visited and must say things have changed very little since I was a girl. It still has its mock warship battles which takes place on the lake, it’s bandstand and it’s island in the middle of the lake, it’s an oriental themed and very popular park opened in 1912

I also visited this park when I was a girl, but have no memories of it now as we moved away from the Middlesborough area when I was 5. Nevertheless, a lovely memory of times gone by.
