My beautiful furball Charlie, taken a few mins ago giving me that “Stop messing me about and feed me look”.
He is thankfully fighting back from over active thyroid, I thought my poor old cat was starting to age so badly I took him to the vets just over a week ago. I can’t believe how different he looks just a week later, he 13 so yes he is getting older but this came on so gradually that all I knew was he was not quite right and on top of it all he has gone stone deaf this from coming to my call or rattle of his food tin has been quite unusual. He’s as bright as a button again and his fur is starting to shine, but I think his weight loss will take a while to stabilize, all in all I think we are lucky his damage was limited and his bloods were not off the scale, so hopefully he has a few more good years to enjoy.
