There was a hum of contented bees collecting pollen from the late summer flowering Helenium this afternoon. I’ve finally made enough room to plant this colourful border plant, my father loved it and I often was to be found with my camera around their colourful flowers when I was a teenager.
Nice on black.
Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome. I’m also happy to find my ‘Abandoned’ photo on the TT page this week, thank you all so much.
A fine macro , with all the details of the pincushion centre of the flower and the pollen seeking bee ! Nice to make room for an old favourite - I have also a couple of perennials I must make room for . And yes to your comment on my post - I have planted two pots of violas for the front door step and pansies in a new trough planter I just bought ! FAV
