This pair of ewes stayed out of the way as we passed them on the way to the top of Danby moor. Everywhere was brown once more where the heather had flowered and the bracken was slowly turning to a rich golden yellow. It’s hard to believe that’s it for another year, the flowering of the heather is so short lived and the colour so short lived. On the bright side temps were 21c even up here although it is going to start being cooler this week

Always makes me nervous to see one sheep each side of the country rod - I am always afraid won will dart across to the other - but sheep are wise and quite road savvy . Love how the two just stand and stare at you !
Great rual scene and capture . Gladly this is n`t happen on our roads although I `ve tanking in some sheeps that where brocken out last year. Love the moor. Fav. .
