Kirkstone Pass

This photo shows the twisting road that snakes over the pass in the Lake District. It’s not surprising that it’s one of the first places to be blocked with snow as soon as the weather deteriorates each year. The weather was not great yesterday and the pass was in shade, it always looks very bleak but it has a real natural beauty that hard to ignore.
