Autumn Moorland by craftymeg

Autumn Moorland

We had a trip over the moors today, this is a view over the dale of Commondale, the bracken is golden, the sheep are growing nice long coats for winter and the babies are nearly as big as their mothers. This young one was following its mum still trying to get a drink and this is his/her mother saying get lost!!
Nice on black

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.

@julzmaioro @jgpittenger
Beth is right, moorland sheep roam free, many farmers graze their sheep so they are all colour marked to identify them when they need to separate them for lambing etc.
