Taken the other day when we had a sunny autumn day, it’s rained ever since. A view across the vale showing a field of Belted Galloway cows, which are kept mainly for beef and do well on poor pasture and moorland, they are sometimes kept for milking or just for show.
They are nicknamed ‘oreo’ in the USA because of their white band around the middle.
