South Bay birds eye view

Scarborough in winter is still so picturesque, this was taken today by my daughter on her walk. I’ve stood at this spot and it is a spectacular view of the bay and the castle on the headland between the North and South Bay. It shows the spa and hotel where concerts are held in normal times! It was well known for its Max Jaffa concerts years ago.

Superb shot. I’ve only been to Scarborough once - the weather wasn’t great and bits were blocked off so that a hospital drama could be filmed - so we didn’t get to see much. We will be back though...one day.

Oh super shot indeed! We always stay the other side of the castle down in the North Bay. Quieter! But I love the sweep of the bay in the South too.
