Taken the other day, a roughly carved seat out of a tree stump. It was all in one piece and was on a grassy mound by the walkway in the forest near to where we live. It is somewhere to rest weary legs and is used by walkers.
Best on black
Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
Somebody's been busy! Peter once made a seat from a fallen tree in one of our wilder parks. He left it for people to enjoy. Despite it being very heavy it wasn't long before it had disappeared!
A super find. It's nice to see sculptures carved from old tree trunks.
You asked me yesterday about Harlow Carr at Harrogate. I haven't been there yet, although it is on my list of places to visit. It is quite easy from York as well. A train to Harrogate and a lovely walk through Valley Gardens and the woods on Harlow Moor. Hopefully when the current restrictions are relaxed I can visit more places on my list!
