Dereliction....

......when we moved here back in 2000 and started walking along this lovely river, this boat was viable .......her owner was actively doing repairs and it was looking good. Goodness knows what happened then, but this is the result 22 years later ....not a pretty sight ....poor old lady :(

@ludwigsdiana I guess they ran out of money (or inclination) ....the Council is not responsible for the removal, although there have been many complaints to them.

Poor old lady yes but makes a lovely subject for a great shot. I like how you composed this shot. Götheborg would have been a great catch for you pirates being a merchant vessel and who knows what merchandise it would have been carrying.
