"Blessed are the Flexible for They Shall Not SNAP!" Christine Caine

It poured down rain today. Thunder like crazy. My son's newly transplanted girlfriend asks, "Does it always rain this much?"
Beautiful shot. I heard lots of thunder at a distance, the sky is gray, but it hasn't rained yet. BTW, I like your profile shot. Very nice.

@drewhuy Thanks, Drew. I was experimenting today. Helped that is was coming down so hard and I was under the eaves. I'm thinking a hurricane would not go over well but she is used to tornadoes!

An awesome shot! Love how you have captured the rain! We've had lots of rain where I live, but I am grateful... everything is lush and green... so I have had to mow the grass a lot!

@calm Thanks, Cathy! Yes, I agree, better too much rain than too little.
August 17th, 2012
I love how you captured the rain splattering off of everything. Great shot.

Really great shot. Fabulous capture of the rain. If this girl sticks aroung for long enough, she will get used to it and learn to appreciate rain in Southern Florida, right ?

@lynnb Thanks for your comments. Always hard to do something different.

@bardejov Thank you so much! I think she is planning on sticking around. She has a great attitude about so much change and is adjusting well (from what I see). We've definitely had a lot of rain this summer!
