Pine Trails Park #ParklandStrong

I finally made it over to the park where people first met while the streets around the school were closed. It is a very large park. In one location, children were playing on the playground. Hundreds of yards away was this memorial to the victims. There is an amphitheater with 17 angels. In the field beyond are 17 crosses/Stars of David. The Red Cross is there. Counselors are meeting in the indoor facility. Billy Graham Ministries are there (plus by the school). I drove by the school on my way home. Both locations receive a lot of visitors. What's nice about this park is that the media are not allowed beyond the parking lot.
This collage is so powerful, Danette. Beyond heartbreaking. There are no words.

@taffy Yes, I live about 4 miles from the school and spend a lot of time in that immediate area.
