Rocket Garden

One view of the Rocket Garden at the Kennedy Space Center, showing the different forms of space craft over the years. The only one not in the photo is the Saturn 1B, as it is difficult to get them all together. Here is a description of each of them: https://www.kennedyspacecenter.com/blog/rocket-garden

What a fascinating and informative site! Without seeing this, I had always assumed (incorrectly) that all manned rockets were the same shape!

I am still fascinated that these things don't tip over or go badly off course immediately with liftoff. Still jealousโ€ฆ

@rhoing Well, people have to be at least 3 miles away during a launch due to the power of it. I saw a clip of the making of the Space Shuttle and the difficulties involved. Though we lived through it, it was fascinating listening to just a portion of what looked like a movie.
