I'm out of time to take shots for today I believe--work is getting in the way!
But I would like to attempt what I was trying to do if I find the time again. This shot is my new scarf draped over the camera--focus is all wrong, but when I tried it with my phone camera, I loved the kaleidoscope effects of the sun in the background. I started with the idea when I first held my Samsung phone just looking around my office (because I was thinking I must take a photo--and like, now, soon!). My eyes drifted to the scarf I was wearing (a new purchase on my trip to Florida, and it has cute little sparkley accents).
I played with it some, but then for some reason, I took the scarf over my head and then started to look through it against the wall (yes, once again, comedy for all you folks reading this). Then I took it outside to see what looking at the light (sun) would do.
It was an experiment fail in the end, but an idea will come from this and I'll think of a real way to capture the texture of the scarf (in more focus) and the lighting from the sun--just not now, sigh.
@ragnhildmorland Thanks for the cheer-up! I really just wish I had had the time to make it a better shot, but the seed is planted for another time, and now I'll put all kinds of things over my head to get a new perspective (ha,ha). :)
@judis Thanks. Admittedly, I was just running out of time and wanted to do "something cool." I need to really set my mind on a subject I think. I just realized that the month of Feb B&W thing started...maybe I should really do something like that? Work is getting in my way unfortunately.
