Not fair. It looks so good, and we have no decent seafood here. I like how you filled the frame with color and flavor.

What a great food/culture photo that makes it so enticing for us to come and join you!!!

Shuffling through your photo album backwards, I now understand this photo better. When you have time, would you post the recipe for it?

@taffy, we won't have crab, but I'm imagining a Ravinia outing or a Beaver Island beach party on a small scale . . . ?
September 9th, 2013
@jyokota we could. But likely not for 200!

@taffy @anazad511 @chrissieh @eyesmile @danette @nicoleterheide @witchyjacq @grammyn @nanderson @squamloon @zenna @wind_of_the_sothern_sea @rvwalker @jyokota It was an amazing day of food and culture and fun. Junko, I'll have to ask for the recipe, but the rough recipe is a huge boiling pot with Bay seasoning added in. First go in potatoes, then smoked sausages, then corn, then shrimp. There are specific times when they are added to make sure nothing comes out mushy! I'll try to get the times for you! You then strain the contents and add more bay seasoning on top. Put it all out on a table and gather around to eat there or put on plates. Best dinner conversation and messy had event on the planet. :)

That looks very very appetising and also is very photogenic with toning colours!

@darylo thanks -- looking forward to the recipe, but no hurry . . . it'll be next summer before we can do this.
