Today marks the last day of my first 8-week term teaching in Fall semester. I've been working and grading and doing all kinds of things, and I've caught another cold/cough/sore throat thing. This fall has been brutal for some reason.
Went outside to catch a few rays before heading back in to complete grading for the day and to clean up the house. I hoped for birds, but my eye cast itself sideways and saw this beautiful web shining in the sun.
Woke up today also to see that my "How You Doin?" Squirrel made the Top Twenty this week. Thanks for all your positive comments and feedback. That was a silly photo, but I'm glad people liked the humor in it (you must say the title with Joey from Friends' voice).
Starting Sunday, I'm off to Blue Ridge in a tiny cabin with my girls. No WIFI! THANKFUL. I don't need anything but sun, trails, and time with family. See you soon!
I wish our county had 'Fall break" like many around us do. Oh well, tomorrow is a work day and without kids there, it doesn't feel like a WORK day like usual. SIgh of relief today on Sunday. Your trip sounds great, this photo of the web is great! I enjoyed taking a stroll through your latest pics!
@squamloon we have 16-week semesters, but I teach 2 8-wk courses back to back. I have a week in between, and kids had a four day weekend. Sun, moon, and stars aligned.
