Second Get-Pushed attempt for @momsta who challenged me to get a forced perspective shot--this time, I'm adjusting bokeh with my tool--yesterday, I cast a prism on the wall and tried to pluck it with a tweezer! This concept came from Aaron's photo about aperture and tightening it up for those nice hexagonal shapes--which I had learned awhile back playing in manual mode--but I loved his tool concept, so I'm borrowing (@grizzlysghost)! What I did learn is that the bokeh you can see in your viewfinder is not directly proportional to the tool in placement, and while I did get one that "fit" well, the focus was off. Just imagine me taking photo after photo to get the tool and shape lined up, but I had a ton of work to do, so this is what I have for now!
So, this is your hand being shown and a tripod was used? I currently have forced perspective as my challenge and I'm trying something similar. It's not working. lol.
@mej2011 No tripod as I had to look through the viewfinder AND try to guesstimate where the bokeh would land so my hand was trying to move toward it. Very imperfect. I imagine, in hindsight now, that a tripod may have been a better idea. Wonder if @grizzlysghost would have a suggestion as he was the inspiration for the shot!
Wow! That's some pretty good focus for no tripod. Thanks for the help!
