Oh, I enjoyed my time in the mountains, but now that I am back, I've been plagued with my cold/cough/throat symptoms, and I've been entering grades and setting up my online course for the next term...sooooooo...here is a rooster from our horseback riding adventure yesterday whilst still in the mountains.
Tomorrow, I will meet a friend for Pho, and I hope to get in a "get-pushed" urban shot there. Pho Sho.
A shot of whiskey a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of lemon heated in the microwave taken right before bed with about four blankets on top of you should take care of that throat! Try it!
Terrific colors in this rooster. Great shot of him.
Pretty boy! Hope you feel better soon! I was diagnosed with a touch of pneumonia today, so I hope that's not what you have, considering our symptoms are similar! :/
@juliedduncan I've been afraid I have something that is like that. Last time I had a bad case of bronchitis that was going pneumonia real fast. I'm going on two weeks now. Pretty exhausting. :( May just go see Dr. by Friday if tomorrow I don't feel better.
Fantastic shot. I'm finding that the mountains and trees, and maybe a little too much leaf peeping, have just about done me in too. I've got to go get some better allergy meds. Hope you feel better soon.
@grammyn Amazingly, I have been able to sleep; I just don't wake up feeling good. :( I think I'll have to see Dr. tomorrow. Nothing is going away and I'm starting to feel really depleted. Last time, I had a bad case of bronchitis that was about to turn pneumonia. This time, I have an added headache and sore throat with the cough, so it's just no fun. I'm going for Vietnamese Pho today and hope something in that broth will work magic, but I'm going in to Dr. in the a.m. if things don't turn. Waaaah. :(
@darylo Poor baby (said as she hugs you to her shoulder and pats you on the back tenderly) My cure will work, though, I promise you! the extra blankets will raise your temperature so the virus is killed and you will be quickly on your way to recovery! ;~}
@taffy oddly this is the photo selected for the restaurant exhibit. I thought I had not cropped it so much but I'm so lost on how to proceed to print and frame...was expecting another (better) shot to be picked! Could I call you this week? Thanks so much for the advice on my post today!! I'll be gone all day tomorrow but I'll email you when I get back. :) oh and I never thanked you for the fireworks shots!!! Thanks so much. Presentation went great. But daughter left camera in Japan...ugh
Sure -- give me a call at your convenience. What I think you might want to do is call the service folks at matboard.com -- theyve been good to work with. I would predict that they will cut a custom mat for you with the opening you need, and a standard outer measurement so that you don't have to do a customize frame which is what gets expensive. I think it's exciting that you're going to have these hanging in public places!! I think you have my cell but if not, shoot me an email and I'll send you cell and land line info.
And for what it's worth, this shot really is a fun one and I can imagine a restaurant wanting it hanging there. Sort of thematic with food??? In a 'what it used to be' sort of way!
