Prunus x yedoensis: Yoshino Cherry

This is my favorite tree in my front yard. It covers much of my yard and it attracts so many birds, and it looks like it snows when the birds (mostly house finches) start eating the blooms. I took a shot of the tree this winter in snow, so I cannot wait to get a shot in spring when it is in full bloom (that will be next month).

Another miserable windy, cold, grey day, so I had to punch it up a bit for the spring green. Same macro clip with kit lens.

I love the bright pop of green and the dof.

@grammyn I've decided to revisit each plant once a week so it will show the progression from bud to bloom or leaf! :0

@grammyn I sure hope so. I'm pretty sure I will not really remember which bloom I was using, but it'll be close enough. :)
