Bahar's Feast by darylo

Bahar's Feast

Sunday was a lazy day, and my youngest did not feel well all day; she finally perked up and felt up to going to our good friend's house for a lovely meal and meet up with friends. My friend Bahar made this amazing meal with chicken thighs, carrots and potatoes; a Persian rice dish; stuffed bell peppers; and a wonderful salad! It was all so colorful and joyful, and especially delicious.

Afterwards, we had coffee and tea and "Dutch" (although our Dutch friends cringe when you say Dutch in this case because IT IS NOT DUTCH! haha) apple pie, ice cream, fresh fruits, and cookies. Oh my we were stuffed! But loved every bite! She's such a great cook and friend. We love these gatherings!

Friends bring joy. How great that my Joy in June theme is so easy to capture. :)
So very clever and creative to use an image as the collage canvas. Beautiful and yum.

@nanderson Yes, a greek salad. A Persian meal for the most part. They are from Iran--and oh the rice and peppers well all of it, so yummy and flavorful!
