Had a lovely evening at one of my oldest and dearest friend's home--a tree trimming party. It was in midtown Atlanta (where my mother lives), so I arranged to head over to mom's condo after the fete and stay there. Mom was still up (it was late!) and we talked way into the a.m. hours.
Just realizing that I have not changed the clock on my camera, so the shot for last night was indeed before midnight I believe and this may have been near the stroke of midnight too, so I'm counting the walk to the condo as the 20th and this one the 21st. The other photos I took today are all from old photo albums in my mom's place. It was so fun this morning reminiscing together.
Later, my daughters and I went to the store to buy ribs (too late to really cook, but we did anyway) because they wanted to learn how to make them on the grill. It was my best Xmas present ever. It's the little things. :)
