Jelly Fish. I love them so. And I thought this one came out nicely. From the Georgia Aquarium. Used my 35mm fixed (but on cropped sensor Rebel T2i). Low, low light. Wide, wide aperture. Lucky, Lucky me. Only two shots came out decent. (oh, best on black).
@darylo You were on a roll Daryl - I loved the other Jelly too!! 2015 is going to be a good year for you - the big 50 soon and finishing 365. Don't stay away too long will you!! Happy New Year!!
@pamknowler Here's the "plan": I'll take a break--I don't know how anyone just goes into a new year without savoring the previous year--the break I took between year 1 and 2 was not even long enough, but I was recovering from my time in Mexico and was still in trauma mode. However, I thought ending Year 2 on 50 would be fun. So I let go of the "photo a day" concept and posted a photo a day (I spend a lot more time in processing now). If all goes well, I'll have a new camera by 50. I'll take a nice break to get my wind back, and then I'll start a Year 3 with such a relaxed approach, I'll have gaps and be ok with it. I think. That's the plan at least. I can't leave here. I AM going to get with Flickr now too, so we'll see how that works.
@luvmynynix So good to hear from you! I've been awful. Have to take tomorrow to look at everyone's shots. Happy New Year. Your girl is getting so big! :)
@northy Thanks Northy--thankfully, I will not have to renew another expensive membership to get a jelly shot. I would, actually, but I think 3 years of the Aquarium is enough for me. :) My kids will NOT go again unless forced. Loved your end-of-year video. One day, I'll figure out how to do that. Ugh.
@redy4et They are so hard to get. The light and focus is never in my favor. I was surrounded by a crowd too, so I'd get there in front of the jellies, then let others come in, wait, go back in, wait, repeat... Happy New Year!
