Diptych of Still Life Tower of Five

my get-pushed turned diptych. Still-life side by side. For the mono version, I used a blue b&W filter after the edits in color. That's it. Can't get picasa to line up the white line unfortunately. Tried in Picmonkey and couldn't figure it all out. Collages still get me.

And there must have been something on my lens on the left. I corrected it on the single image, but not the diptych. UGH!

Interesting to me to see how the monochrome makes it all about shape and texture, while the color makes it about the items and the warm memories.

@taffy Taffy has a really good observation. The B&W concentrates much more on shapes and light than the warmer color image. An interesting study.
