Just playing with an idea or making a mono/color diptych of still lifes I'm doing this week. Mono version using only the orange filter--no other editing after the color version set. No need to comment as I'm off in grading land after this upload. So sorry!
How interesting -- this one, I actually prefer the b&w. It gives me a sense of the items but it makes your artistic sense more visible. This is a really well balanced shot!
The cool frame catches my eye. Interesting that the feeling of each image is similar, to me at least. The previous diptych had a more reflective subject which made the B&W and color versions very different.
